Description
Zeta C Arc Welding Rods Tubular Hardfacing Electrodes for Extreme Abrasion Resistance (SMAW) – 2lb Tube
Product Description
The fastest-depositing rod for brutal wear conditions.
Zeta C is a high-performance tubular hardfacing rod engineered for extreme abrasion with or without impact. It delivers a hardness of 5862 RC and a weld metal deposit rate over 50% greater than traditional hardfacing rods. With its ultra-high alloy content (38%) and low heat requirements, Zeta C maximizes protection while minimizing downtime.
The unique tubular design provides wire-feed level deposition speedsup to 10 lbs per hourmaking it ideal for industrial wear surface applications in mining, dredging, earthmoving, and manufacturing.

Welding Instructions
- Weld downward or with a slight uphill slope for heavier buildup
- Remove all rust, scale, and fatigued metal before welding
- Preheat thick or alloy steels to reduce cracking
- Do not preheat manganese steels (1114%)weld cold
- Stress-relief cracks are expected and do not reduce wear integrity
- Limit deposits to a maximum of two layers
