Description
The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1BL017LF is a centrifugal circulator pump (also known as a circulating pump) intended for use in residential and commercial hydronic heating and cooling systems. Operating at 115 volts (V), this 1/6 horsepower (hp) pump is essential to the closed-loop system’s ability to circulate water or other suitable fluids. The pump creates centrifugal force through the rotation of an impeller inside a housing, which takes fluid in through an inlet and forces it out through an outlet. This constant flow makes sure that hot or cold water gets to all of the system’s parts, including boilers, fan coils, and radiators, so thermal energy is efficiently distributed around the room.
