Description
The Trane CNT0532 is an Automatic Reset Limit Switch for the Trane HVAC systems. This critical safety component, which is slightly less than 2” long by 1” high, helps to cool the system to prevent overheating. They serve as single-pole temperature sensors that break the electrical circuit when the air temperature around the furnace or air handling unit is 150 ° F open. When the temperature reaches a safe level of 130°F, the switch automatically resets closes and thus normal operation is made possible. It has terminals for easy connection and it has a silver ribbed contact that is rated with up to 30 amps.
