Description
The Sporlan Controls 3624-00 is a device for HVAC systems that prevents condensate drain pan overflow. Since it is a normally closed sweat switch body, while it is in its regular state, electricity can pass through it. The body may be easily installed in drain pans thanks to its 7/8-inch male pipe thread connection. The switch opens, breaking the electrical circuit, when liquid builds up in the drain pan and reaches the switch body. In order to avoid possible water damage to nearby places, this sets off an alert or turns on a pump to remove the extra condensate. The Sporlan Controls 3624-00 is often used in air conditioners, furnaces, and other HVAC equipment that produces condensate while operating.
