Description
The Sporlan Controls 168720 Erze-15-Ga is a thermal expansion valve for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. By reacting to the temperature of the refrigerant exiting the evaporator coil, it controls the flow of refrigerant. The TXV increases overall system efficiency and aids in maintaining a constant temperature in the cooled room by automatically regulating the amount of refrigerant entering the coil. The Erze-15-Ga TXV type in particular has sweat connections that are 5/8 inches on the inlet and 7/8 inches on the output, and it is made to operate with R-410A refrigerant. It is frequently found in chillers, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
