Description
The Siemens Industrial Controls 3RW4027-1BB15 Sirius Soft Start is a device that protects and controls AC induction motors, which are commonly used in HVAC equipment, including pumps, fans, and compressors. It works by gradually raising the voltage delivered to the motor at startup, lowering the inrush current and torque. This helps to protect the motor and other equipment by lowering the stress that occurs with typical on/off starting. The 3RW4027-1BB15 is rated at 32A and can power motors up to 40 kW. The key benefits of using this soft starter are lower inrush current, lower torque, lower motor stress, a longer motor lifespan, and improved overall power quality inside your HVAC system.
