Description
The Siemens 268-03000 is a two way normally open stainless steel valve assembly for use in precision fluid management in HVAC systems. This valve has a 1/2″ dimension and a flow coefficient of 1.0Cv and balancing system pressure and regulating fluid flow. The valve is closed by a spring mechanism which opens the valve when an external signal or pressure exceeds the spring force. The 4″ stroke is plenty of flow capacity when fully opened. This valve is made of stainless steel construction that is durable and corrosion resistant and is suitable for a number of different fluid types.The Siemens 268-03000 valve is used mostly in HVAC systems but also controls water flow in hydronic heating and cooling systems.
