Description
Siemens 267-03163 is a small and efficient two way valve assembly used for the controlled flow of fluid in HVAC system. Implemented using brass and working on a generally open (NO) basis, this valve is open until a power signal closes it. This 1/2″ size and 1.60Cv flow coefficient effectively adjusts fluid flow according to system demands while an electromagnetic coil is built in the valve that activates when a 24VAC signal is applied. That causes the valve to shut and prevents fluid from flowing through it. The valve opens when the electrical signal is gone and fluid can flow. This on/off switch allows for a precise control of HVAC system components, such as dampers, actuators and water valves.
