Description
Siemens 259-02008 is a 2 way valve a small electrically driven valve meant to be used for control of water OR other suitable fluids in HVAC is precise control. The valve is normally closed (NC) so it stays closed until an electrical signal opens it. The valve uses a 24 VAC power source to operate a linear actuator that opens and closes the valve in response to the electrical signal. The valve will have a Cv of 2.5 meaning the flow rate via the valve is based on what is possible with fluid flow.This valve is used in HVAC systems for the control of the flow of water in fan coil units, terminal units and chiller systems.
