Description
Siemens 257-02005B is a 2 way closed brass valve assembly for use with HVAC systems to control the flow of water or other compatible fluids. The valve has a 1/2″ connection size and a flow coefficient (Cv) of 1.0 that guarantees fluid handling. The valve’s opening and closing is controlled by its 3-8 PSI spring range.This valve operates with pneumatic pressure. The spring loaded valve when the system pressure falls within the specified range of 3-8 PSI and fluid flows. When the pressure drops below this level the valve is shut by th spring and prevents the flow of fluid. It provides a means for fine tuning the operation of the HVAC system.
