Description
The Schneider Electric (Square D) 9038DG7 Float Switch with a mechanical alternator used as a controller for tank or sump liquid levels by using a float mechanism that changes position with liquid movement. A mechanical movement through the float activates the switch which controls electrical circuits. The built-in alternator mechanism it enables it to alternate between two connected pumps thus distributing operational load and enhancing equipment durability. This alternator operates as a standard component in HVAC condensate removal and water management systems. The system automation helps maintain consistent pump operation and prevents overflows and dry runs and simultaneously reduces maintenance requirements for increased system reliability.
