Description
Robertshaw 1970-048 Thermocouple is a temperature-sensing component used to detect pilot flame presence in gas-fired heating equipment. It generate a small millivolt signal when heated by the pilot flame which is then used to keep the gas control valve open during operation. In HVAC systems it is commonly applied in furnaces boilers and water heater where consistent flame monitoring is required. The 48-inch lead length allows flexible positioning between the pilot assembly, and control valve supporting proper alignment within confined burner compartment. It is typically used in pilot assembly for ignition safety control circuits.
