Description
The Robertshaw 1970-030 30-inch Thermocouple is a sensing component used in gas-fired heating equipment to monitor the presence of a pilot flame. It generate a small electrical signal when heated, which signals the control valve to remain open during normal burner operation in HVAC systems. The component is installed in light commercial furnaces boiler and water heaters where accurate flame detection is required for safe ignition control. It is mounted near the pilot assembly it works as part of the systems safety circuit.
