Description
The Robertshaw 1950-002 Thermopile with PG9 Adapter is used in gas-fired applications such as wall furnaces, space heaters, and gas fireplaces in HVAC systems. It is a thermoelectric system to operates the gas control valves by using heat from a pilot flame. It has a 2-lead configuration for compatibility with millivolt systems and has a lead length of 48” to allow for simple installation. This thermopile also provides safety and efficiency by providing a means of ignition and flame monitoring. The benefits include maintaining better performance, energy efficiency and minimizing the need for additional power supply.
