The Rheem-Ruud 61-23542-05 The Thermal Expansion Valve is an essentialpart in the HVAC systems which is used to control the refrigerant flow to ensure proper operation and performance length and having a 3/8” inlet and output it can handle R-22 refrigerant. This is meant for 4-ton capacity systems and works as a means of controlling the amount of refrigerant that is admitted into the evaporator coil.
