The Rheem-Ruud 61-103652-02 is Thermal Expansion Valve that is suitable for large refrigeration systems especially those that use R-410A refrigerant. This is a TXV model which is significant to control the flow of the coolant into the evaporator and it has the capability to manage 4 tons of cooling capacity, thus helps the HVAC equipment functions adequately and efficiently. It is 3/8″ x 3/8″ valve and it has a 30″ capillary tube for the measured control of the refrigerant. This TXV’s applies mostly in high mass residential and light commercial A/C applications; where accurate refrigerant mass flow is essential to the applications performance.
