The Rheem-Ruud 61-102213-08 3. 5-ton Thermal Expansion Valve is an essential part of HVAC systems especially air conditioners and heat pumps. This expansion valve has a 30” capillary tube and a 1.7” equalizer tube to control the flow of R-410A refrigerant. It is a heating valve that controls the amount of coolant that flows into the coil that cools the air thus allowing efficient cooling and heat exchange.
