Description
The Rheem-Ruud 42-25104-01 24V SPST Relay is used to control the switching of electrical circuits within commercial systems equipment. It operates as a low-voltage control part that opens or closes a single circuit in response to a thermostat or control board signal in commercial HVAC system units. It is installed on control boards or wiring harnesses to manage components such as compressors, blower motors, or auxiliary heating stages. By isolating and directing control signals, the relay ensures coordinated operation of system operations within furnaces, air handlers and heat pump assemblies, supporting accurate system sequencing and electrical load switching.
