Target CYA range: 3050 ppm for standard chlorinated pools; 6080 ppm for saltwater chlorine generator systems. Dosage: approximately 1 lb per 4,000 gallons raises CYA by 30 ppm. Add through the skimmer with the pump running; allow 2448 hours to fully circulate before retesting. Maintain pH between 7.27.6 for optimal chlorine efficiency. Do not backwash for at least one week after adding to allow full dissolution.
