Description
The Nordyne 626481R Auto Limit Switch is a temperature-sensitive secure component that is applied in HVAC systems to observe and regulate the temperatures of internal air. It closes the electrical circuit at 95°F to prevent the furnace or air handler blower from operating when temperatures are above safe operating levels and re-closes when things get back to normal at 135°F. It is installed in places where heat exchanges or plenums are located to avoid overheating by breaking blower or burner circuits in case airflow is limited or thermal limits are exceeded.
