Description
This Nordyne 626465R M/R Limit Switch is designed to protect, particularly in furnaces and air handlers, temperature sensitivity in HVAC systems. The switch continuously monitors internal temperatures and disconnects the electrical circuit at 225°F to prevent overheating and safeguard major system components. This switch is intended to be installed on heat exchangers or in blower compartments, where it will assist in avoiding unsafe operation in case of disruptions of airflow or mechanical failure. When it reaches a safe temperature, the system reopens the circuit and continues to operate automatically.
