Recommended Amperage Settings (DCEP 20%):
- 3/32″: 60 Amps
- 1/8″: 100 Amps
- Use DC reverse polarity only (DCEP)
Welding Instructions:
- Clean weld area thoroughly
- Bevel material 1/8 or thicker
- Maintain a very short arc or drag technique
- Use stringer or weave beads
- Hold electrode nearly vertical
- Preheat heavy sections as needed
- Clean slag between passes with a stainless steel brush
