The Maxitrol 210GZ-3 is a regulator intended primarily for gas-powered HVAC systems such as boilers, furnaces, and industrial ovens. It serves as both a zero governor and a pressure regulator. As a zero governor, it keeps the output pressure constant independent of inlet pressure variations. The regulator portion restricts the maximum pressure provided to the burner, which is normally 5 psi in the case of the 210GZ-3 type.
