The Lennox 78F90 Blower Motor is a replacement part that is used for blower purposes in the Lennox HVAC systems probably in furnaces, air handlers, etc. This motor provides 3-speed options for accurate regulation of the airflow. This motor has 3-speed options (around 1075 RPM) to enable you to control the amount of heat or cool air being supplied. This motor design is a trade-off between power draw and airflow output. This is ideal for most home-use HVAC systems since it has a 1/2HP capacity. It has sleeve bearings to ensure that it runs smoothly, is mounted horizontally for easy installation and has a 48 frame size to fit well in your HVAC unit.
