Description
The Lennox 51W15 is a Door Interlock Switch, an essential part of the HVAC system’s safety. If a small guard can check all the conditions before a huge machine is set to work. This switch is installed on the access panel of furnaces and air handlers, it works like a basic on/off control. When the access panel is shut tight, the switch is depressed and this makes the circuit complete and the HVAC system is on. If the panel is open, the switch sticks out and breaks the circuit so that the system cannot turn on.
