Description
The Lennox 48G97 Relay is a single -pole single- throw relay applied within different equipment, which include furnaces, and air conditioners. It functions like a small switch which opens or closes the circuit depending on a low voltage signal normally 24V. On receiving a signal the relay gets turned on and makes the circuit capable of allowing currents up to 8A to flow through them to power devices such as the blower motor. On the other-hand when there is no pulse the relay is off, hence breaking the circuit current. This switching functionality makes the Lennox 48G97 Relay a part of controlling different HVAC processes turned on or off according to signals from the thermostat.
