The Lennox 42W29 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential control part used for Lennox air conditioners that have a 2-ton cooling capacity, using R-410A refrigerant. This valve is especially crucial in the regulation of efficiency and temperature control within your home. This uses a long and thin tube to measure the temperature inside the evaporator coil. It then perfectly controls the flow rate of R-410A refrigerant through the 3/8-Inch diameter inlet into the coil. The wider 1/2 Inch ODF outlet provides full and smooth passage for the cooled refrigerant.
