The Lennox 36K28 Auto Limit Switch is an essential safety part developed for Lennox HVAC equipment most often furnaces. This compact switch serves as a safety feature as it checks the temperature within your furnace. This is always checking the internal temperature of your furnace. If the temperature goes beyond the safe limit or the range of 160°F to 190°F then the switch initiates a shut-off mechanism to avoid overheating and possible damage to your furnace. When the temperature returns to normal the switch turns off and the furnace can start up again without having to be restarted manually.
