Description
The Lennox 25W57 Ignition lead wire is an essential part of most Lennox HVAC systems, especially in 1gas furnaces and boilers. It serves the purpose of a wire that conducts a high-voltage electrical charge to the ignition electrode. During the heating cycle, the ignition control module passes a current through this wire. The current then leaps across into a small gap where it sparks and in the process ignites the gas burners. Some of the signs that can be attributed to a faulty lead wire include slow burning, several tries to burn as well as a weak flame.
