Description
The Lennox 20L49 Burner Box is an essential part of a gas furnace and heating systems. it is located burners that light and explode fuel to produce heat. The burner box is normally constructed of heavy stainless steel to counteract the heat generated during combustion, flame temperature being in the region of 1000 to 2000 f [537 to 1093 c]. Upon ignition, the burners warm a heat exchanger installed in the furnace that warms air circulating in the system. The hot air is then circulated through ducts to vents in the building to warm the rooms during Winter. A faulty burner box can be replaced to bring back the efficiency and safety of heating in an HVAC system.
