Description
The Fenwal 35-605605-115 Direct Spark Ignition Control Module is a safety and efficiency component for gas-fired heating systems. It works by having a 15 second pre-purge to flush out any remaining gas before ignition, a 10 second trial for ignition, where it tries to ignite the burner if needed up to 3 times. This module is mainly applied in HVAC systems like residential furnaces and heating appliances. It include safety in that it has a lockout feature in the event of a failed ignition, performance in that it operates well with a 24V power supply, and efficiency in heating processes.
