Description
The Fenwal 35-605500-003 Spark Ignition Control Module is an advanced control equipment that is used for controlling the ignition pattern in the gas-fired heating system. This module works through the production of a high voltage electric spark of 30,000 volts to directly ignite the gas burner and hence promote efficient and reliable combustion. Amongst them is a pre-purge function which eliminates unburned fuel before ignition and increasing both safety and efficiency. Another safety measure inherent in the module is flame sensing to check for burner operation and lockout which does not allow for ignition attempts if flame is not sensed within a set time, thereby reducing the risk of gas build up.
