Description
The Fenwal 35-605311-221 Gas Ignition Module is an essential part of several HVAC systems that is specifically used to ignite the gas in furnaces boilers and water heaters, among other appliances. This module works in such a way that it provides a spark or flame to ignite the fuel air mixture in the combustion chamber. It generally comprises of several main parts such as igniter electrode, sensing electrode and the control circuit. When activated the igniter electrode ignites the gas to form a spark or a pilot flame. The sensing electrode is then used to sense the presence of the flame and relay the information to the control circuit.
