Description
The Emerson Climate-White Rodgers 3L09-12 Limit Switch is a board-mounted bimetal disc limit control used to monitor, and regulate temperature levels in furnaces air handlers and other HVAC systems. It opens at 220F and automatically resets by closing at 180F protecting equipment from overheating during operation. With a 3.12-inch insertion length, the switch is installed within the heating section or plenum where it responds to rising air temperatures and interrupts the circuit when limit are exceeded. Its role within the system supports safe operation temperature control and protection of internal components.
