The Emerson Climate-White Rodgers 3L09-10 3.12″ Limit Switch monitors internal equipment temperatures and interrupts electrical operation when heat levels exceed specified operating limits. Featuring a bimetal disc switching action, the control opens the circuit at 200F and automatically resets after temperatures decrease to 160F during normal cooling cycles. Positioned near the heat exchanger or heating compartment in commercial HVAC systems furnaces, rooftop heating units, and air handlers, it senses temperature changes directly within the equipment cabinet for regulated thermal response. configuration maintains automatic cycling.
