The Emerson conditions-White Rodgers 1F82-261 Thermostat is a programmable heat pump thermostat for efficient controlling of heating and cooling systems. They use a 24V power supply and have a 5 + 1 + 1 programmability option for the user, where different schedules can be set. This thermostat can be used with single-stage heat pumps and, in addition to that. It uses microcomputer technology for efficient control of temperature and has the potential to reduce energy consumption by a third. A backlit LCD means that users can read content easily, and if there is a power surge that ends the program then the permanent program retention allows users to change settings temporarily.
