Description
The Carrier CT90YA601 is a replacement gasket that is used to ensure a proper fit in Carrier HVAC equipment. This 9” by 9”, 0.125” thick black gasket is essential to minimize air leaks in your system. The gasket is a seal that is placed between two surfaces to prevent the flow of air into or out of specific sections. As it surrounds the systems creating a small space it ensures that conditioned air cannot escape to the outside or hot air infiltrates into the system. Less air infiltration means that your heating and cooling system runs efficiently, possibly decreasing energy use and expenses.
