Description
The Carrier 38AF501804 is a fan guard that is used for HVAC equipment. More to the point, this metal guard serves to both prevent the blades from coming into contact with objects and also enhance safety. Usually placed near the exhaust fan of furnaces and air handlers, the guard permits air to flow through the system while at the same time, it protects the system from anything that may get in its way such as wires or toys. This ensures that the equipment runs as expected over their useful lives and the risk of a fan or another internal part being damaged is also minimized.
