The Carrier 338096-703 Limit Switch or L165°F-20°F Limit Switch is an essentialpart of several Carrier HVAC systems. It is the protective device and has significant function in controlling the system functioning. This limit switch works in a way that it senses a particular temperature range. In most cases, an action is taken when the temperature rises to 165°F, for instance, the heating element is switched off. On the other hand, in case the temperature drops below 145°F the switch resets to enable the heating cycle to commence.
