The Browning 3B5V60 Fixed Pitch Sheave 3-Groove 2-7/16” is an essential part of many HVAC systems. This sheave is V-belted, constructed to transmit power from motors to turning fans, blowers, and other necessary accessories. The sheave has three grooves which are deep and are meant for V-belts only. As will be seen below the power transfer is tight when a V-belt is installed in these grooves because the arrangement has a wedging action, creating a better grip between the belt and the sheave to reduce slippage.
