Description
The Bard HVAC 8620-080 Auto Fan/Limit Switch is a temperature control that manages fan operation and provides safety shutdown by monitoring heat levels, supporting controlled performance within HVAC systems. Calibrated at 75°C, it responds to temperature changes through an internal bimetal element that expands with heat, activating or interrupting electrical contacts based on set limits. This allows the fan to operate at appropriate temperatures while preventing overheating. Installed within furnace or air handling equipment, it is mounted near the heat source and connected through wiring during setup, enabling automatic control and protective system operation.
