The Trane CPT0670 is a dual run capacitor used to improve efficiency and durability of your Trane HVAC system. Measuring 4.75″ tall and 5.8″ long with a diameter of 2.62″, this round capacitor wraps tightly around motors generally 2.5 inches in diameter. Constructed from metalized polypropylene film and an aluminum case, it is built to be used in temperatures as low as -40°F to as high as 158°F. This capacitor works as a storage and release of electrical energy to help the startup and steady running of the compressor motor of your Trane unit.
