Description
The Trane BRG1099 is a pillow block bearing a type of bearing used to support a revolving shaft minimizing friction. It’s usually made from hard cast iron so it’s sturdy and lasts longer. Pillow block bearings are also a common application in HVAC equipment like blowers, fans, and compressors. The Trane bearing has a set of rolling elements such as ball bearings inside an inner housing. These rolling elements fit through the center of the shaft, which can rotate with little friction.
