Description
The Trane BAS1648 Compact auxiliary contact at 2.5 x 4 x 1.1″ but packs a big punch. There are two contacts on this auxiliary contact: normally closed and normally open contact. The contact state of the HVAC system depends on the initial condition of the system and changes with an electrical signal within the HVAC system. These auxiliary contacts are often combined with other controls in Trane air handlers, chillers, and furnaces to initiate operations such as turning on indicator lights, setting off alarms, and sending signals to the building management system by opening or closing the circuit.
