Description
The Schneider Electric (Barber Colman) AV-609-1 Linkage is a mechanical component that regulates airflow in HVAC systems. In particular, it joins an air handling unit and a rotary damper (from the VB-8000 series). The damper’s rotating motion is converted into linear movement by the linkage, which allows the damper blade to be accurately positioned to control airflow. This 6-inch linkage offers adaptability in a range of air control applications, as it is compatible with both 2-way and 3-way dampers. The AV-609-1 linkage helps maintain the ideal temperature and airflow levels while promoting effective building operation and maximum comfort through precise damper actuation.
