The Carrier A18368 is a Retrofit Cap Assembly, a spare part for ball valves installed in Carrier HVAC systems. It plays the role of a lid to the valve opening to avoid any loss of refrigerant and to guarantee the efficiency of the system. When closed it prevents re-failure from escaping and regulating pressure within the HVAC system. It is used in replacing the worn out or damaged caps on Carrier ball valves for enhanced system performance and to avoid refrigerant leaks.
