The Taco 950-664BRP seal kit is intended to repair leaks in specific Taco brand HVAC circulator pumps, These pumps force hot or chilled water to circulate throughout the structure and are crucial parts of hydronic heating and cooling systems. Because of worn-out seals, the pump may develop leaks that impair its functionality and perhaps cause a system failure.This repair kit includes every part required to fix the pump’s seal, such as an impeller washer, a grease package, a brass shaft sleeve with an O-ring, a mechanical seal, and several gaskets. Water leaks are stopped by the mechanical seal, which creates a tight barrier between the pump’s fixed housing and rotating shaft.
