The Lennox 93W01 Hi-Pressure Switch Auto is a device that is critical to the smooth operation of your HVAC system. This switch is normally closed, but opens automatically when pressure exceeds a preset limit, usually 590 psi in the case of the 93W01. When this occurs, the system will shut down to prevent the damage that can come from compressors and other parts. The Lennox 93W01 is commonly used in furnaces and air conditioners to prevent dangerous pressure build up in operation. It can handle standard control circuits with a maximum Ampere rating of 5.8 amps.
