Description
The Nordyne 621869R Fan Relay with a 24V, an essential component in many HVAC systems especially in furnaces and air handlers. A relay is in fact, an electric switch that user a small control current to turn on or off a large current. In this case, the 24V control circuit from the thermostat closes the relay and activates it. The SPDT configuration means that this relay has one common terminal and two other terminals which are different. When the relay is energised when the thermostat calls for heating or cooling the common terminal is connected to one of the output terminals to switch on the fan.
