This Rheem-Ruud 61-102498-02 Reversing Valve with 24V Coil is one of the parts of the heating and cooling systems installed in houses and business premises. This reversing valve is vital in heat pump systems because it provides the mechanism for change from the hot to the cold state and the other way around. This valve is provided with a 24V coil to ensure that it performs the control function of the refrigerant flow in the system effectively. The discharge connection size of the valve is 1/2” I. D On the other hand, the suction connection size of the valve is 3/4” I. D Hence, the valve is used in HVAC systems. It supports a capacity range of 2.7 to 5.5 tons for the R-22 refrigerant and 3.3 to 6.6 tons according to refrigerant type, fans are compatible with R-410A refrigerant carrying capacity of 6 tons; therefore, fans are suitable for different refrigerants and cooling capacities.
